I use speakers with my headset, I just go into control panel and switch to desktop speakers. You can just unplug the transmitter from the usb port too.Old school or the new, doesn't mean a thing if your heart's not true...Comment

I use the Microsoft Lifechat LX-3000 headset. It is USB but has volume/mute controller on the cord. Feels great and is a very stable design

Well I have been using the Logitech G930 for a couple of days and I'm very happy with it. It sounds great and I really like not having to unplug I when I run to the fridge. When I want to use the speakers all I have to do is unplug the USB stick and the speakers kick in. Thanks for all the input.

That's cool Duke, it is really cool not being tethered. I was really surprised by the sound quality too. A couple of times I actually flinched from some sounds like sniper fire whizzing past my head lol.Old school or the new, doesn't mean a thing if your heart's not true...Comment
