I bought the same cpu cooler for my son's new build I would recommend you do one thing with this cpu cooler is change the fan on the cooler because it is really loud.

Welcome to Corsair :: H50 Product Information

I have this one, the H50 from Corsair and love it. The fan is very quiet and it cools extremely well.

Best Buy is having a blowout on the H50s for about $60. That's a much better setup.

I have to agree the Corsair H50 is the best cpu cooler on the market.

Not that I'm in the market for a new cooler but can someone explain to me why they call the H50 a liquid cooler?

It's not actually for liquid cooling right?

It's liquid cooling "done easy". It does in fact use liquid and a radiator, but it is entirely pre-filled and closed when you buy it, so no chance of messing it up.

The coolit has gotten a few bad reviews on newegg. I would go with the corsair H50 as well. I am currently running a corsair water cooler external that is looped through a quad 6850 a 2-8800gtxOC's. I am planning to get the H50 to seperate the cpu and video cards so I can OC my CPU higher. I installed my natutilus 500 back in 2006 and it is still going strong.
