I was just talking about gmail as an example tab. It could be done with any login screen. The trick is how the java code is executed, trojan, infected website, etc.

There are a couple of firefox plugins that do a reverse name lookup and tell you if your not at a site the resolves correctly this might help.

Ya, it apparently does a quick scan of your cookies looking for any to exploit. Honestly, I just don't do any social networking crap so I'm a lesser target than many of the younger generation.
I've been online for so long that my web browsing it basically limited to less than 10 sites. PCs aren't as interesting as they were to me. I had to force myself to do a board swap/upgrade last night.
