    Adding a PhysX card

    This last build left me with a spare computer. Is it worth it to add my old 8800GT to my new build and making it solely do Physx? Does it help? Does Physx do anything to games that don't support it?

    Oh, bought a camera to take real photos of my rig.

      If you play one of theses game then you will see a benefit. PhysX - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

      I had considered getting a 275 Co-op to sli with my current 275. It has a250 GPU that is used for Physx but after looking at the list of games I figured I should just save my money for a tri SLI 480 rig....

        your ram is nuts. unsure about the phys x cards, but i just wanted topost that .. isnt it awesome when you use a cooler master case, and cooler and the cooler lines right up with that rear exhaust fan?

            I wouldn't bother with PhysX tbh. It was poor when it was a dedicated card and it's still poor now Nvidia have bought it.

            The 1000W PSU gave me a chuckle.

              Not worth it... I did some test a few years back and the little fps improvement I got wasnt worth it. Our cards are more then enough to handle Physx on its own.

              Help on understanding Physx
