SavageHobo Needs A New TV :)

    Hey Guys,

So last week I had an SUV take out the power pole in front of my house. The accident caused a "small" power spike that toasted my microwave, TV, wireless router and a few other small things. A new router and a few surge protectors later I am now in the market for a new TV. I bought an XBOX 360 over the Christmas break and was thinking that this might be a good time for an upgrade I'm looking to get something around 32" and something around the $400 - $600 price range. I'm probably looking at an LCD rather than a plasma since I will be using this TV for gaming and cable and I was just looking for a few suggestions.

There is a BestBuy, FutureShop and Costco around my house (In British Columbia) so just looking for some feedback? Suggestions? Anything to specifically avoid?

I like Sony but, I'm not hip to everything when looking for a TV. One question though. Do you rent our own your house? If you own your home owners insurance might cover your loses. Even if you rent if you have renters insurance that might do it too. It's worth a look

Yeah, the insurance stuff is all taken care of, but the TV that I had... was pretty old so not much $$ for that one. When you have to squint to play XBOX you know you need a new TV
