    Windows Defender >(

rant: windows defender is a pita and i cant seem to find a way to get rid of it. Im on vista and only on my screen name does it seem to be effecting, it wont let me stop it from running at start-up because although its set that way for the administrator account it still runs on mine. I cannot shut it down once i logg on without UAC being turned on and thats a whole nother mess i dont want to screw with.

Overall goal get rid of windows defender not shut it off get rid of it, need to know how.

Why? because it wont let me open mozilla firefox or internet explorer says something about them not being protected and safe. Yes i have run antivirus programs and anti spyware ect. As it is im typing this on the steam web window.

Click on system tray, go to options, at the bottom there is a check mark if you want to use it or shut it down. Do that. And u cant get rid of it, just like WMP and Explorer.
