It takes Between 7 and 8 Sec from when the windows log appear to load the windows up to a full working desktop and if any on thinks I'm Bs then Come out a say it to my face.

OK back on track! My 320 AAKS takes about 18 seconds to boot XP.

Or a new HDD. HDD's are the one thing that's kept holding PC's back. They've got a lot better over the past 2 years but SSD's are waaaaaaaay out in front.

I upgraded to 2x150GB 10,000 RPM raptors in RAID 0. What do you have? And for God's sake. From Power button to Desktop. I don't know if you are counting BIOS cuz mine are about 25 seconds on its own.

juneau, When do you think the prices in the 512GB size will come down? I would like to have one of the SSD but the 128 GB size is just too small for my taste now days. Heck I still have a 80GB and a 1GB hard drive lying around my house somewhere lol.

At this rate i'd say 12-16months. I'm looking to buy one for Win7, but 128gb will be enough for me as i don't keep all my games permanently installed.
