I have to say the card is worth it weight in gold its the Best ?60 I have ever spent the sound is just amazing, The Beta driver from the Asus Website for Win 7 and great and under Vista 64 it flawless.

I'm a little late to this but anyone who is having problems with x-fi and vista/win7, try the Youp Pax drivers. You can get entire software suite and they work great.

I have a Creative fatality sound card had it a year still no compatible vista drivers 150 dollars of crap

Wanna hear something odd. I know the QA person for creative. He's a really good guy and a friend. We shoot together. In fact the private range we belong to is behind the creative building. I say QA person because he was the QA manager with 10 folks under him. Then they laid off everybody but, him.

I had some Vista driver problems with my X-Fi initially, mainly static on the mic. I don't have any problems anymore though.
