Lappy's Wifi no worky after installing a 3G Adapter

I recently tried out a Franklin CDU 680 3G Broadband Adapter (usb) and it didn't work out for me, so I uninstalled it. After the uninstall, my laptop's wifi quit working. When I click on "Connect to a network", the only connection I see is the Franklin Dora Dial Up connection--my wifi card doesn't even initialize. Only thing I can do is reinstall the wifi card's driver and it works fine until I reboot the computer--then it goes to crap again. I tried reinstalling the software for the 3G card and uninstalling it again, but that didn't help. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

Hmm what os are you running? You might want to rerun the connect to the internet wizard and make sure it says direct connect.

Vista Premium 32bit, I'll try running the wizard again and see what happens.
      Thanks Mapes
