I'd go with the new G5. Doesn't have quite as many programmable buttons as the MX518, but the scroll wheel has the left-right movement. It also has higher DPI. had a G5. Now have a G9. Not so many buttons, but I wouldn't trade it for the world. 3200 dpi (though I never put it above 1200), rough coating so's it doesn't slip, long, flex, soft-coated cord...etc.Originally posted by Dead...Again View Post

I looked at your and though it may the more favored overall by buyers, I like mine because its smaller than most gaming mouses. You know the two side buttons on the left...well the other ones are too far up toward the front end of the mouse. I really don't like holding a mouse at an angle and trying togo up instead of up right or up left. Not good...NOT GOOD---quoting Bruce Almighty. So yeah, in this case, smaller is better. I'm gonna have to agree with Fiery (Never saying that againOriginally posted by Skud View Post) and say that the Habu is one of those legendary mice. Had one for 2 years but then the top of the cord made it restart on it's own from wear. My new G9 is working well, but it's just not the same for my sniping....
BTW Habu is about 50% bigger than the G9 and 25% less weight. Legend I tell ya, LEGEND!

Dude it comes with a second panal for the two side buttons. In case you want them closer or further away. PARTY in my hand!
