Its actually an 8800 gts (G92) which was then renamed 9800 gtx and has now had a process Shrink and has had its memory increased. Im thinking they will OC more then an 9800 or 8800 would since its a smaller chip IE less power required. But im not replacing my old 8800 g92's for a pair.

they change a spec or a name and just relabel the current 70000 boxes they have instead of throwing them out.
Makes more sense to spend a few pennies on a label than a few hundred pennies on a box.
