    Decent HTPC case

A buddy of mine is wanting to build an HTPC, and he is wanting to get one of the cases shaped like a receiver. Can anyone recommend a decent one?

Imo don't bother. You'll be paying twice as much as a normal case, just because it's a htpc case. I just bough the smallest ATX i could find at the time and saved myself ?100.

Antec Fusion is currently a very popular selection, but be VERY careful and read about each case before buying.

One of the units I read about has a metal faceplate that is not grounded properly and the first time a guy walked on his carpeted floor in his socks, he touched a button on the faceplate to change a function and the resulting shock ruined his mainboard.

Yep, the static discharge carried thru the case and into the components !! ESD FTL !!
