Irish police want all phone based browsing logged

Yeah, they want EVERYTHING logged and maintained by the cell phone companies for later possible use in criminal investigations. Without any prior evidence, warrants, suspicion, etc....

What governments think they can do that violates privacy and the law anymore really scares the ###### out of me.

Irelands crime rate isn't exactly extreme... It's freaky that they want that, but it's Ireland. The people that I know from it wouldn't care. It's just another thing to go through. And how does logging phone browsing help in the slightest with criminal investigations? They're not gonna be illegally downloading from their phone, they can't really do too much with it... Kinda pointless I think
