    Sounds interesting, I'd want to try it out for myself though...couple bottles of scotch....couple weeks worth of testing just to be sure.....

    Could be interesting...but, as the guy towards the end of the article says, I hope that folks don't try passing off cheap stuff as top rail. I wouldn't bet a 30 minute shake will have the exact results of five years of aging.

      I'm a home brewer and I wouldn't believe it unless I tried it. It is all about the chemical reactions so I suppose it's possible but chemical changes that happen over time are what really give any alcohol its taste.
