Interesting article, but the percentage of players of any given game actually doing that sort of in-depth research and reasoning is very, very tiny. Everyone else just googles their results and uses someone else's work in their discussions.
As an analogy, if you need to look up a walkthrough for a game you're stuck on, you'll usually find no more than 2 or 3 of them out there, no matter how popular the game is. Well, Call of Duty 4 can kind of teach you some physics. Like the lag time in sniper bullets. But yeah, you won't really know about that unless you read a book or a friend of buddy tells you.Comment
