Alls this did was screw over the owner of the gas station. Selling gas is such margin business that the only way the owner make money is form the store.

I used to manage gas stations. The station owner usually only makes about $.07 per gallon on gas. It's really only there to attract customers so they will buy cigs, beer, water and soda. Ya lose your liquor license at a gas station and you might as well shut the doors and go home.
