    He plans on joining ROTC and wants to be a pilot in the AF. He hopes he can qualify for the F22 Raptor but, he knows the odds.

      i thought high school ended by early-mid june. i did...did i missed something?

        In the South it starts the first week of August and ends in May.

          has he already talked to a recruiter, to find out exactly what he needs to be able to do this? Last I heard a private pilots license was more or less a must to be able to secure that position at all. Also, he'd probably have better luck being a F16 or F35 pilot as there are greater numbers of them (f35 replacing F16, 18, and harrier).

              Maybe he will fly one of my birds. Maybe not...they are still testing and full scale production is still years away.

                Might be close, he would have to go thru the Academy here in the Springs and that's four years.
