    I have super hearing!

To cut a long story short i've just had my ears syringed (a very very strange sensation) and my hearing is like, WOW! I can't remember the last time i heard like this. I can hear the smallest of things. Like for instance, my jeans moving against the skin of my legs (not brushing against each other) when walking on a not so quiet road. In fact they're so good it actually kinda hurts.

One bad thing though, my quiet PC now sounds louder. Don't think i dare wear headphones for a while.

I had this done when I was in my 20's I couldn't believe how good my hearing was. The next day I was using a zawszaw to cut the top off a keg to make my brewing kettle and my ears rang for days I think that took the edge off of my newly discovered hearing.

I guess its a great time for you to tweak your fan setting Juneau.

I think i'm going to feel the same way very shortly. Planning to go out and mow the lawns in a few minutes.

I don't think i can lower them any more. Case fans are running at 900rpm, the same as my CPU fan.

          Eh?
You could just hang your headphones around your neck.

Wonder if I could do with having that done. I can hear down to 10db's, and I don't think my baseline coming into the AF was at -10db's.... Although I don't remember how good that actually is...

hehe hasnt been said yet so here it is.
we are going to be the only ones that will know his secret identity if it turns out juneau is a kryptonian and starts flying around saving people all we need now is someone to be his nemisis (who wants to change their name to lex luther?) and we are all set lol. the next step should be heat vision, do you have your super strength yet, can you fly or hover, how about x-ray vision .

as for the headphones why not just use the speakers instead shouldnt be too loud or just turn the volume down and turn it up bit by bit.
              -insert something witty here-

Is this the kit you buy over the counter at walgreens or what?

I had it done by my GP. It's a high pressure water nozzle that they put in your ear and then give it a blast and it vibrates slightly. Feels weird but cool. They do however only use it, at least in the UK, if ear drops don't work. I was waking up in the morning and feeling like i had water in my ears. A weeks worth of drops and nothing came out.

I must have had the cut-rate version done by the local Dr. Nick Rivera. He used a Water Pik.

The stuff that ends up in the little tray they hold under your ear is both impressive and disturbing.

I'm having the same problem. I can press firmly just at the rear of my jawbone or right where my earlobe attaches to my head and I can re-create the "water in my ears" feeling and sometimes it takes a while to go away. I sometimes have to lock and unlock my jawbone (or yawn) to get my ears to pop to clear it up a bit sometimes. I have never had mine done and always thought I was losing my hearing.

My wife does these ear cleaning thingies and I might have to get mine done now since you brought it up.
