You sue the source of the virus, which would be the store.
The store will payout, and in that findings, it will concede something that says that the hospital bears responsibility for prevention as well.

The plaintiff then takes that finding to court and sues the hospital for an additional pay out. Ideally, you want both the settle out of court. Best case scenario, PetSmart settles, you then take on the Hospital using the funds you just captured from Petsmart.

Normal people like us just cannot fund these types of cases unfortunately, which makes this strategy necessary.
