I think what most people don't fully comprehend is that this service was so expensive not just because of the women.


I was expensive because of the lengths they went to in order to make it completely discreet and almost impossible to get caught. You had to spend this amount if you absolutely positively could not get caught. Oops.


Obviously with the FBI investigating Spitzer for possible fraud they stumbled upon this by chance.

Blackarrow makes a valid point. Client 9 isn't going to go to jail because of being a rich John, he's going to go to jail (barring a deal) because he transported women across state lines for illicit purposes. That's a good chunk of the fee, the transportation and arrangements.
