    Hello my name is Dead... I used to play video games

    Am I the only one who is having trouble finding any games worth spending time on any more? I played the hell out of BF4 (449 hours), put hundreds of hours into Fallout 4 (255). I bought BF1, but probably only have 11 hours in the game. Mass Effect Andromeda: 23 hours. PUBG: probably 10 hours.

    I don't know how many games I have bought, installed, played for 1-2 hours, then never played again. I actually went back recently and reinstalled FONV. I probably put more hours in my new character in that game than I have in BF1...

    I'm really enjoying BF1. Frustrating because most of the games are one sided. And it doesn't help that my sniper ass is 40/3 and ranked 15th on the team because some guy is 9/8 on first place because he sat there and capped two flags. I'm not gonna give PUBG a try, seems too boring for me personally, as bad as fortnite.

    Maybe we shall meet again in the next Battlefield game.

      I haven't played much of anything since UT2004 and some TF2. I was hopeful for UT4, but development on that has been nil for quite a while with Epic pulling all the UT people into developing and extending Fortnite Battle Royale. I am playing that and enjoying it, even though I'm a klutz with shooting 3rd person and with the building structures aspects. So many younger folk are too damned fast at building. And for me, the weekly challenges within a "season" can be fun. Season 3 is ending and season 4 starts soon.

      There is a possibility with "custom matchmaking" that Cain fans could have a way to play together. A "key" that players have to enter is what would enable grouping in the matchmaking process. At least that is the way it looks like it will be. There is a button for custom matchmaking and the key dialog appears but then it says it is not enabled at this time.

        I like BF1 and was playing it. Right now I have not been playing anything at all.

          I've been playing Warframe non stop lately on stream. Grindy but always fun there are all sorts of playstyles you can go about. I absolutely LOVE PUBG and have close to 1k hours played between the live servers and all the betas/test servers. Other than that, I pick up some RPGs every now and then b/c they're my childhood past times and always give me that nostalgia even if they're new games. As for newer games, there's a few coming that I wanna pick up but the lasted thing nowadays is early access games and by the time they come out, we move onto the next early access but that's how it is in the broadcasting world. Gotta keep with them to stay relevant unless it's a triple a title like the new God of War etc.

          Always down to play some Warhammer: Vermintide 2 or PUBG and Warframe.

              I saw this recent reply to a lengthy thread (165 forum pages) on the Fortnite Forums.

              Epic won’t give out codes, only to tournaments, people who have had contact with Epic, or some YouTubers.

                To extend on this, these companies nowadays will give the keys out to highly watched content creators (twitch tv, mixer, youtubers etc) and also to tournaments, sponsored events etc. They do not give them out to the average joe, sadly. Maybe one day but for now, if you want a custom BR experience, you'll have to find a content creator doing customs with viewers or attend one of these sponsored events and/or tournaments. Right now you can do that in Vegas' Gaming Center where they're holding all the biggest eSports competitions etc.
