Happy new year's all!

Going to start mine on an annoying note. I work for the county planning department and our elected leadership is on a retreat Mon-Tuesday in another jurisdiction 2 hours away, and I have to present to them on Monday at 9:30 a.m.--and my agency didn't pony up for rooms for our staff.

At least I get to read about residents being furious that these folks are spending taxpayer money on a fancy resort 4 counties away.
