so he's not in boot yet??? oh well, he'll experience it soon enough. bootcamp, ah the memories. the screaming, the yelling, the repetitive reciting of tons of info, the marching for miles, the pt, lol your bro's in for the usual crap. tell him to expect harsh cold and alot of snow ploughing, chicago will be freezing and'll typically stay that way til April. If he toughs it out, and doesnt decide/qualify for BUD/S training, he'll procede down to Pensacola, Florida for about 6 months for his rating training, which is probably AE(i forget). I had a couple of AE friends, its not a bad life, but promotion can get stale after reaching E4.
