IMO the pack was fortunate to make it to OT.

There were many reasons the Packers lost today. Harris and Favre didn't play well and the Giants played a very physical game. The statement above is true, the game wasn't as close as the score dictated.

They DID. While the Packers O line is great at protecting Favre, they aren't the greatest at creating holes for the run. Well that, and the Giants have a decent run defense.

After thinking about it, I really think Favre needs to retire. He's still got something in him, but I can't see him getting any better than he is now. In the NFC championship game, he was doing the same things he's done throughout his career: force plays through the defense. Problem is, he doesn't have quite the rocket arm he used to, so he ends up forcing a turnover more often than not rather than completing that improbable play. His style of play hasn't changed, but his skills just aren't quite they used to be.
