I have mixed feelings. As a life time Giants fan I am glad they won. But as a football fan, I would have loved to see Brett Favre go to the Super Bowl and beat the Pats.

IMO the pack was fortunate to make it to OT.
There were many reasons the Packers lost today. Harris and Favre didn't play well and the Giants played a very physical game. The statement above is true, the game wasn't as close as the score dictated.

The Packers were off in their game. I still think they are a better team than that, and that Pats vs Pack would of made a much better superbowl.
I think the Giants got lucky.
But if you look at how the Pats were off their game, who knows what can happen in the superbowl.
If the Giants are crowned the champs, then its really due to the NFL being a 1 game elimination playoff. I know you can't have best of 3 or best of 5, as they do in NHL and NBA, due to time restrictions, but that format really allows for the better team to win the series (usually).
I hope the Pats really blow the Giants out of the water.[this is where my funky sig would go. But I don't have one.
