Snow in LA and SF?

Is it true it snowed in LA and Sanfransisco? Like a lot? My brother works at the UPS store and said that drivers are on alert because it's snowing there.


Yet my brothers a moron, and could be making up stuff. So is it really true that it snowed there and not here WHERE IT SHOULD BE SNOWING!!!

It never snows IN L.A., though it did snow in the mountains and high deserts, which are generally considered part of the Greater L.A. Area.
