    WWII in Photos

Just thought i'd share this link that i found elsewhere. There's some great shots from throughout the war spread over 20 parts. Part 13 is the most recent with the remainder coming throughout Sept and Oct.

There are a few 'graphics content' shots but they're blanked until you click them. Tbh, they're not that graphic, and some similar shots are left on full view without the need to click to view them.

What an excellent link Juneau. I only looked at the one from before the war and I can't wait to get some more time to look at the rest.

Thank you Juneau. My wife and I had many relatives that fought in WWII.

Where do you put the Bayonet?

I think I saw his signature on the Constitution!

Seriously awesome pictures though, they have a whole series about WWII, and some other wars. Check out the related photo galleries or whatever. Really good N.Africa photos.
EDIT: Oh! You posted the whole compilation link, nice!
They have some on Afghanistan too, very good.

I started getting loading errors in part 9.

Overall, this is a FANTASTIC find. I've seen thousands of WW2 images and documentaries and many of these are new to me. I'm particularly struck by how great the color images look--they look more like modern reproductions of the style of the 40s.

                    Thanks for posting.

Very good find. It's interesting and valuable to remember how it all happened.
