    free museum day

This is pretty cool if you are looking for something to do on Sept. 24th. You can search to see if there is a participating museum near you.

The irony here is that the Smithsonian is always free.

The one museum in DC I really want to visit but haven't because it costs 20 beans per person is the Newseum. I've been to the International Spy Museum, and that one is cool. I've hit all the Smithsonian museums in DC except American Indian, which I really need to visit, and the Air and Space annex out at Dulles.

      Yep.

Agree, the Spy museum was GREAT!

I think I've hit all of Smithsonian's in D.C. Was aggravating for a long time as the American History museum was closed forever for renovations when I was traveling to D.C. frequently.

They do charge for parking at the Dulles Air and Space, wasn't that much though.

I want to see the american indian one. I know someone who made several of their weapons on display as well as some of the traps.
