Military respones to hacking attempts a possibility

US warns: hack us, and we might bomb you

I like this stance. Hacking infrastructure and government is as serious, or more in some cases, threat, as a direct attack would be.

The only real issue is spoofing an attack. Google ftp-bounce attack. By subtly poking or prodding a completely innocent machine that just happens to have poor security you could get the US to bomb them.
