Not sure that this is a good thing. Less competition means price setting is a lot easier.

It's actually bad news for me. I'm a T-mobile customer with the cheapest phone and data plan they have, and I pay about $55/month. I expect that rate to climb to 70 or more under AT&T.

Actually, the mucky muck's are still debating on keeping T-mobile's price structure. Thier network is not nearly as fast/good as AT*T's right now, and were running out of bandwidth as it was.

Getting 4G nationwide is a good thing though IMO.

As a person who tried AT&T for 6 months and left off, paying a cancellation penalty, to go to T-mobile- I AM MAD! I do not want this crappy company, their crappy customer service, that crappy Apple loving pieces of crap. I guess next contract is going to be Verizon for me.

Same here. Coverage has always been good, it is cheaper than Verizon, and since my family has AT&T I can call them long distance for free.
