    Ah - I was thinking of sticking with my socket 775, hence the Q9550. Not really comparing apples to apples with you going to the i5.

      Lol, believe me if my board was more quad core overclock capable I would have loved just to have updated the cpu.

        Yay my internets are fixed today!



        Well turns out the last three modems they swapped out in the last three weeks were all bad. What are the odds? For a second I was really thinking they capped me.

              Usually they are refurbished and sent out to people like Devilguns.

                  Actually, if you read the fine print of your contract this is usually stated. Even Dell and HP will send refurbished parts on warranty replacement.
