The main navigation is made from platinum which holds a single cut 7.4ct pink diamond. Also included (not shown in picture) is a rare 8ct single cut Flawless diamond which can replace the pink one. The chest which houses this unique handset is made from a single block of Granite , in Imperial Pink with the inner lined with Nubuck top grain leather , which weight is a massive 7kg.The handset is 32gb and limited edition of only 2 to be ever made. News reports over the last week chronicled the launch of an $8 million, diamond-studded iPhone as well as stories that a well-known rapper replaced his teeth with diamonds.
British jeweler Stuart Hughes, known for creating luxury gadgets such as mobile phones, gaming systems and iPads crafted from solid gold, is offering what he is calling the world's most expensive iPhone. As featured on Hughes's Web site, StuartHughes.com, the iPhone 4 "Diamond Rose" is priced at 5 million British pounds, or about $8 million.
The rose gold phone features a bezel covered with approximately 500 individual diamonds totaling over 100 carats. In addition, the back side features 53 diamonds that together shape Apple's logo. Meanwhile, the phone's main navigation button on the bottom front is crafted from platinum and holds a single 7.4-carat pink diamond.
And if all that isn't enough for the phone's buyers (only two editions will ever be made, the jeweler says), the handset also comes with an 8-carat diamond that can be switched in to replace the 7.4-carat pink stone. Finally, the phone comes in a granite chest lined with Nubuck leather.
