    Technology Review: Credit Card with a Computer Inside

    Seems pretty cool to me. I think both innovations would be pretty useful.

    I hope they implement these smart cards in some form, but I expect payments via mobile phone will grow faster for credit & debit transactions.

        I don't see the benefit really. In fact the only way I see it selling is as a device so people could perhaps imprint all of they're cards onto one card. Security speaking most credit fraud is from online sources, trojans or skimmers. So this won't prevent that. Practically speaking compare the price of printing a dumb credit card versus one of these. No real incentive and a cost ratio issue makes me think banks will ignore this.
