How do you fix a cell phone?

Well, so tayeke and another friend were in a hot tube, sadly no girls, but we all had trunks on and didn't do anything gay for those that will take this wrong. We were waiting for someone who said they were coming, but didn't end up coming. So we grabbed the cell phone and in it goes. The screen was messed up but seems to be getting better.

I guess tayeke is trying to let it dry, as that seemed to help it recover some of the... screen.

Anyone have some tips to fix it?

the best thing to do is the let it fully dry before trying to turn it on again, then once its fully dry, see if its working

Yeah, my brother had a cell phone get completely soaked in a puddle once when it fell out of his pocket. He turned it off, took apart as much as he could and put it on a towel and let it dry for 2 days before he tried turning it on. Still worked fine, he might even still be using it right now.

let it idry. if that doesn't work, he's in trouble. if the clorine left residue, chances are its going to short chips, and its time for a new phone. thats one of the reason i buy insurance.

i am HORRIBLE with phones. since i got my first nextel in 2001, i think i've been through 8 of them. and all because of things i've done. thats through 3 models.

        i have:
Run it over with a car.
run it over with a 500lb lawn mower.
        dropped it in the bathtub.
dropped it from a 2 story building.
        launched it across the room.
and 3 other various unexplained deaths of said unit.

So, what does a cell phone do to a lawn mower blade?

My Brother ran over his own cell phone once. It fell out of his pocket and he backed over it

If your in a hurry take the battery out and use a blow dryer on it

                    True story...

A couple of years back a friend of mine was pulling away from his dock in a boat at his cottage. He decided it would be best to leave his cell phone behind, so he decided to throw it to someone standing on the dock. Needless to say it fell in the lake, but the guy on the dock managed to grab it as it was sinking, pull it out, turn it off and let it dry.

The phone still works to this day.
