Oh yeah, loved it there. I was in Sydney for the whole time except one weekend when I flew to Melbourne to visit a friend. We ended up getting drunk and doing everything Australian i needed to: ate 'roo (which is pretty good!), got drunk, watched footie, tried Vegemite.

Overall It's an awesome country, a bit expensive for my tastes(seriously, 25-30 AUD for a 6 pack of beer?) but still awesome.

Where the hell did you buy beer?? gold plated bottles or something i mean its got more expensive since the goverment has taxed it so heavily but i normally pay about $45 AUD for 24 stubbies

I lived near Darling harbour on the east side. about 3 blocks east(so right in the middle of sydney proper). The local store was at the intersection of George and king street. It was underground (i forget the name). It wasnt expensive beer either. I think the cheapest i saw beer-wise was i think 54 or 58 for 24 bottles of coopers
