Seriously, though, that was cool. I remember spring breaks as a youngster going down south and just dying to see an aligator. We saw a few, but not that many.

Eff that.
I once hooked an alligator while fishing way back when I was in 4th or 5th grade. Totally an "accident"....looking back on that, wtf was I thinking.
I don't think there is a body of water in Florida where I would really be comfortable swimming in thats not a pool. There was one recently found in a small drainage pond here.MotivateComment

You can also, occasionally, find them in swimming pools. Although they are easily spotted in pools.
