The "Secret" and "The Law of Attraction"
Okay, does anyone believe in this Secret Crap?
It's basically a more of motivational "tips" book/video that's no different from a lot of them, except they have gotten better at theatrics and such.
I did watch that short clip....and I just didn't "get" some of the examples.
Like the woman who wanted the expensive necklace, but couldn't afford it, but somehow "manifested" it into her life.
And I'm like "huh?"
Apparently, it's no different than a lot of "Motivational Speaker" stuff that we've always heard of, ie Anthony Robbins. but somehow this particular "product" became a hit...
And NOW, they even have Meetups and CLUBS for "The Secret" where people get together and discuss it.
Now, I'm all for postive thinking, but I am skeptical...of course the skeptical ones will be labeled "Negative Nellies" that won't succeed in life, simply because they well, have their doubts.
So it's a lose/lose for those who are skeptical, ,and simply don't "believe" or "Will" something into their lives.
Any feedback on "the Secret"?
Currently there are people labeling themselves as "self-employed" by marketing this product (and other similar such products and the like)....so it's kind of becoming scarey...like a cult.
I had a friend of mine that lost his ass financially, because he put money into this crap. But hey, I guess he believe in it so much, he thought he would "Manifest" money out of thin air.
