Thanks guys, We just got internet where I am at so you be hearing a little bit more out of me. We had our memorial for our guys here. I can't remember the last time I ever felt so sick. Every guy in my section was on the verge of tears, I won't lie I was pretty dang close. I have seen some bad incidents in the past but when your own get killed.. its different. Very different...

But on a lighter note I found out that I will be home on leave on sept 20th. So there better be so games up lol looking forward to playing some. Hopefully BBC2 lasts long enough for me to frag some buds.

Just got to come back to the rear and leaving again today. I had to drive a Maxxpro MRAP towing an MATV back to KAF yesterday.

Hey BAR !! rest easy knowing my company cuts the Kevlar in between the door panels on the MRAP and also cuts the armor plate on some sections.

I going in the cutting shop tomorrow and writing some " BAR " propaganda on a few pieces, if they are still cutting !!!

Stay Safe Bro !!!! and if it gets ugly, duck behind one of those MRAP Doors.....we'll have you covered !!!!

Glad to hear, the maxxpro has saved the lives of a lot of my friends since we've been here. I drive one myself. Mine is dead in the water at the moment cause somebody used it while I was at a different AO for a few weeks and killed my batteries. We also use the Oshkosk M-ATV. they have been good too but we lost a couple of guys a month back in one of those. 400 lb IED blew the floorpanels rate into driver and tc. the other 3 dudes all had broken legs and the gunner had a leg and his jaw busted. 240B came rate up out of the mount and cracked him a good one and shattered it. Then about a week ago had a friend in an M-ATV and they hit a mine and it blew his door off and ejected him. He would have been fine if he had been wearing his seat belt but his reasons for not wearing one are pretty good to me. M-ATVs look bad-ass but the International keeps us much much safer. I feel more comfortable in the maxxie. AC in them things suck hardcore but as long as I'm ok when I run something over than that is all I care about. I drove a maxxie through K-city bout to weeks ago and ripped the entire left side off a semi and it didn't do any damage to my truck. He hit me thankfully so I didn't get in trouble but I was lmao. silly afghans...
