    Taking Calls after tooth extraction

I'm rather concerned here...I had recently taken a "work-at-home" job where I'll be evaluted on my first 30 phone calls.

If I get some of my teeth extracted, will this pose a problem to me with me talking to them over the phone? (will I have gauze in my mouth?)

Hope this kind of thing doesn't interfere with work.

You'll probably be ok... I recently had a tooth out and I only had to keep the gauze in for an hour or so.

if you are having a wisdom tooth pulled. i'd say it will effect you for the first 24 hours.

You pack up the gauze into a small square that fills the opening and a little more. Unless you go nuts with it, shouldn't affect your voice. You will talk (and drool) like an idiot for about 6 hours after the visit because of the novocaine, but after that should be ok.
