YouTube Nazi's at it again...but, I don't see the problem.

There was this great short clip of a soldier coming home from the war in the gulf, and the dog sees his owner for the first time in a long time......it's a very heartwarming moment.....I was emailing it to friends and such, and eventually someone told me the saw this message when they went to see it:

"This video has been removed due to terms of use violation. "

Now, there was no music playing, no nothing, just a basic home video.....now explain to me how this was a TOS violation??

Are you sure it was a home video and not a commercial from somewhere. Seems like I remember a TV commercial with a soldier coming home and his dog runs up to greet him.

Yeah, I was sure it was a home video, because it looked like a home video.

I'd guess the anti-war extremists kept "flagging" the video as inappropriate and it just got removed by the system.

It's problem of the DMCA. Anyone can flag something as infringing and the service provider has to take it down. There is no legislation for review or how to check if it actually is infringing. Thats why the DMCA sucks

This is not entirely true. But, the video was taken down for TOS violation, not a copyright claim (which would usually be displayed as a placeholder if the video was). It was more likely that it was being flagged by other users rather than "YouTube Nazi's" at it again.

OMG....... The last video of fathers surprising their kids is the best one. I would not know what to do if my dad had to go to war.
