Ahh, the day after Thanksgiving ... most of the morning madness is behind us, the cars have been emptied of their recently purchased products, and .. it is lunchtime !!
My plate was awash in warmed up leftovers - two crab cakes, baked potato smothered in butter with a dash of pepper, filling balls, green bean casserole with crispy onion topping ... and pumpkin roll for dessert.
Now I cannot even sit in the chair any more. I am retiring to the sofa to lay in the horizontal position for an hour or so. A toast, my friends !! I offer up a toast (lemonade, on the rocks) to this most satisfying and important of meals.
