He is doing alittle better then he was over the weekend.
Lets hope the worst of it is over.

There are 6 of us in the house and could pass this around all winter !!!

Karen has been nuts with the Lysol and its like living in a hospital LOL.

One of the Doctors at my base surgery has it, he phoned in ill with it on friday, now we suspect that the reception staff at his 'favourite' surgery might have caught it.

I have not personally gotten it, but people here all over california have gotten it. I dont mean it is all over, as in rampant, but it has been reported in all regions of the state.
drink lots of water, I had the flu once and even though I had an empty stomach I was still throwing up, started to dry heave and almost damaged my stomach pretty bad.

I believe I have it. I'm on the tail end. I felt out of it with a sore throat last Tuesday. The sore throat didn't feel like a normal flu but, more of a swollen lymph gland. Wednesday I awoke FU'd. I was out of work Wednesday, Thursday and Friday plus I felt like crap all weekend.

Best wishes and fast recovery, hope no one else catches it! Guy I work with sounded like crap all morning and went home in the afternoon. Thankfully I don't really like him in any case and stay away...hoping I manage to avoid it

I hope Bran is OK and that he has a speedy recovery. I have been using hand sanitizer for a while but it didn't stop me from getting a really crappy cold so i doubt it will help with the flu and being in the public so much makes it that much more likely.

I agree with Duke. Being in retail, people think nothing of coming into your store sick and coughing all over you.

When I was sick I constantly ate bacon. It didn't help with the flu but, It made me feel better that I was taken some of em down with me

I think I might of had it throughout the end of August until the end of September. I would be sick for a week, halfway better the following week, and then sick again for another week. Basically a total of 3 weeks sick and 2 weeks that were "manageable." During the final bout of it I developed a high fever I was thankful for, since it meant my body was taking drastic measures to fight the infection.

It is now the most common strand of flu. The odds are for it!

And I don't have confirmation because I didn't go to a doctor. (No health insurance.)
