    Mossberg Maverick 88....

Yep, here it is... in 12ga. Gonna change out the buttstock and get a tactical light mount to hang off of the barrel. This if of course after I get an 18" barrel as well.

Nice. Post pics after you mod it.

Where do you put the Bayonet?

Nice, Gene. Nothing does more damage than a shottie in close quarters. A guy in town here zapped someone who broke into his house with one just the other day. The intruder is dead...a guy with a criminal history of break-ins, http://host.madison.com/wsj/news/loc...cc4c002e0.html. It's too bad that the burglar couldn't straighten his act out...had to have someone straighten it out for him. As for the guy in the house, I wish he'd have never had to make such a decision, but I am glad it is him who came out alive and not the guy who busted into his place. I was keeping an eye on this one, to see if the homeowner (actually an adult son of) was charged with anything, but it looks like there will be no charges pressed...which is as it should be when someone breaks into one's house, I feel.

No, it's actually fairly cheap but still made by Mossberg. It's basically a Mossberg 500 without the holes drilled in the top for sights and a longer barrel. Both of which can be fixed fairly cheaply.

But what about the Tom Clancy shirt?
What would you put on a shotgun for sights?

I've shot skeet with ghost ring sights on a shotty and did quite well. Surprising since it was the first time shooting skeet or using ghost ring.
