I started a lawn business when I was about ten. I had fliers printed up and put them around my neighborhood. I was cutting grass for a whopping $1/hour. The average yard took me about an hour and a half to complete. After a few months I had regular customers and always had a wad of cash in my pocket - not bad I say!

There are plenty of jobs out there. But, most people who say they can not find a job are qualifying their statement. Lets face it someone make $50 K a year would probably turn down a fast food or agriculture job. How many of you would work in the fields dawn to dusk picking crops for a living? Not many even if they were starving.

People in America are unwilling to swallow their ego's and do real backbreaking work. They cannot deal with a little bit of lower back pain, or other pains so they get a chiropractor to write them a note saying they are disabled, so they dont have to work. And yes i do know someone with this exact "problem" and giving he can still hunt, fish, and do construction on his house i think he can do some real work.
America's #1 Problem OUR EGO's

I love farming. I was one of the lazy ones growing up, but after maturing and being away from home for a while it really makes you appreciate what you left. Oh and I found out, I wasn't as lazy as I thought.
I remember when I was in AF basic training the TI handed me the scouring powder, a bucket and brush, told me to scrub all the spilled paint off the bathroom floor and I just smilled at him and asked what do you want me to do after that. When he returned an hour later, his jaw hit the floor when he saw I was done. He got a great chuckle outta it when I told him, I was farm boy and if he really wanted to keep me busy for a while he should quadruple the normal amount he would give a normal troop.
Farming is a GREAT life style. Lots of hard work, but very rewarding.
