its because steam is doing maintenance, and u cant log in to your community page as u cant see your friends list either. just wait or restarts that all.

I dont think its under maintenance. I havent been able to view my community page for Months now, almost half a year!

Hijacked or whatever Recon. That's why I said games are better off without it. Even if it were maintenance (which it isn't), who wants a game that one can't play when one is ready to play it. Steam sucks...in my humble opinion...I won't deal with a game that requires it anymore.

I agree with Apache.. it is nice to be able to download the games you already own to any computer. I wish itunes would work like this..... Steam isn't perfect, but I think that we are lucky to have valve committed to the PC community. Microsoft hit gold with their community connectivity on the 360 and they haven't looked back. I expect that steam will continue to improve and increase in popularity over then next few years.
