The Internet Archive: Find those old sites

The Internet Archive is a 501(c)(3) non-profit that was founded to build an Internet library, with the purpose of offering permanent access for researchers, historians, and scholars to historical collections that exist in digital format. Founded in 1996 and located in the Presidio of San Francisco, the Archive has been receiving data donations from Alexa Internet and others. In late 1999, the organization started to grow to include more well-rounded collections. Now the Internet Archive includes texts, audio, moving images, and software as well as archived web pages in our collections.
So what was the Lair like back in the day...Archive for Cain's Lair

Only the Forums that where hosted on ezboard (Nov 27, '04 to '01) come up but it's pretty neat to dig thru some of those old posts about the classic games hosted here...

Nice going through some of those posts. I tried to look for the Dark vs Light (CTFvsONS) match posts but could not find them. I was specifically looking for a few .gifs they had made of me

That tree had been eyeing me since the start of the match.

        Had to ram it... twice!

Maybe the tree jumped out in front of him.
Back then The Lair was actually devided into two seperate groups. The CS crowd and the UT crowd did not interact very much.

I am all in favor of keeping dangerous weapons out of the hands of fools. Lets start with typewriters.
