Man aquitted based off subpoena of arresting officer's MySpace and Facebook

About New York - A New York Police Officer Who Put Too Much on MySpace - NYTimes.com

Great, now people are using them to get out of criminal charges. I know there's a certain point where you need to not put things on public pages because they can affect your professional life, but FFS that's private time and I don't expect to be censured for something at work that I did over the weekend that my boss found on MySpace, unless it's clearly illegal. In which case I would expect him to report me to the police, as well as bring it to corporate attention.

Code of conduct and good standing within the community

Cmon now! these arent new rules, they have been around for awhile. Choose your employer carefully instead of trying to change the flow of the Amazon because you dont agree

This is why it is called an Employment Contract
This means that there are rules and conditions
And when you sign it, you are in agreement to adherance.

AND- back to Sir Fred, in return for your agreement and adherance, you expect to be paid according to the expectations and standards/conditions of said compensation Contract.

    Great Find!
Illustrates the core tenet of business ethics very nicely- play by our rules and we will pay you what you expect is the message inside!

In his line of work, and a few others, there are certain things that you simply cannot do. Posting such words on the internet, for everybody to see, is one of those things. it's so the professional image of not only the person, but the company or agency they work for can be preserved.

Hence I don't have any such web page. I did not read what was said but some things should not be said in a public forum that can and obviously will catch up with you one day. Some jobs you have to be whiter than white. Perception is a dangerous thing and I guess this may follow his career for some time.

yeah, I think school teachers is another profession? I know a LOT Of school teachers that have suggestive pics from them out on the town...they're young, and cute school teachers.....but they say they have their profiles set to private though.
