But..but…Spore was overly hyped and pretty damn boring after you reached civilization stage. They are investing more money into the franchise? I guess I missed the news release that said it was an awesome game and winning awards.

And their first expansion is targeting expanding the space age part of the game…ok…, this is the part that I actually didn’t like.

The game ramped up way too fast, was way too shallow until you hit space. At which point it became very repetitive and linear.

I guess thats why I'm not a gaming exec

i did enjoy spore the first time i played it untill i got to the space age, when i had to get a pen and paper to make notes on which planets i had to go to and when to pick up money etc i just gave up lol
i think they should just sell a $3 game where u can make and share various penis shaped aliens lol its all anyone bought it for

Businesses exist to make money- obviously themajority of people don't mind that EA is multichannel selling their brands....

i would love for there to be an RTS where like spore you can edit transports/soldiers etc but for it to be an adult RTS so that the differences matter. spore was just waaay too kiddy but promoted to an adult audience
