Yikes I did get one but it's a Pandigital. I wonder if there's a way to scan this thing?

Looks like people were just plugging them in and then running a regular virus scan on it like it's a disk. Being an "external drive" it shouldn't load anything on your computer without you actually running or installing anything. So just let it sit idle, don't open it, and run a virus scan on it imo.
