In California- you dont have to move out just because the home is foreclosed on. The new owner (bank or otherwise) assumes the contract you have and must honor the terms.

Yes, but in other states that isn't the case.

In Texas you can not evict someone for non payment of rent, if they filed for bankruptcy.

Also lets you understand the kind of landlord you are about to have.
A landlord who cant pay the mortgage is the same landlord that will simply paint over or plug-cover mold, asbestos, and etc.
